For example would someone who doesn't own a dog or even hates them be interested in buying a book about dog training?

So finding the right customer is the first ingredient in the four part formula that is the secret of making money online.

So now that you have found your potential customer what next?

2) Insist

Now, you need to direct your potential customer to a squeeze page or a page that allows them to opt into your mailing list.

And when they get on the page you need to Insist they Subscribe.

Offer them a free gift, a free e-course, anything... let them know why and give them clear instructions about how to subscribe.

Make them want to DO IT NOW!

This is the second crucial ingredient to the four part formula that is the secret of making money online.

3) Sell

Now that you've got them as subscribers, you can Sell to them. Not once but repeatedly. It may be that they subscribed to your mailing list when they first visited your website, but they may not have been interested in your initial offer.But now that you have them as a subscriber you can sell them another product or service, because you now have a way of staying in contact with them. More money is made on follow up sales than on the initial purchase of any product purchased online.

This is the third crucial ingredient to the four part formula that is the secret of making money online.

4) Thank

Finally they've given you their business.

Many people chase new business instead of cultivating their existing purchaser into lifetime customers.

They've bought off you once... the initial sales resistance has vanished. They've got to know you and your product.

Let them know that you value their custom and let them know regularly.

Give your customers an occassional bonus, or customer only discount off new products.

Make them feel valued, and they'll reward you with much more custom through loyalty rather than running off to your competitors.

They'll appreciate your service and they'll remember you care.

This is the fourth and final crucial ingredient to the four part formula that is the secret of making money online.
